He didn't expect there to be lots of time for all of the X-Men to be in the house at the same time.

"Then it seems the three of us will be rather busy in the future." The X-Men are hardly content idle, anyway.

Seems so.

[But now he stands.]

'round now is when we usually eat. You comin'?

[calmbeforethe]

"Of course." Ororo nodded, getting up as well. "It will be nice, having dinner with both you and Kitty now here."

[snikting]

"Yeah, swell. Me an' a house full of women. That's gonna go well."

[calmbeforethe]

She sent him a sharp look, frowning. "Are you complaining? Or shall we invite Gambit over for dinner? It's a simple matter of contacting him over the journal system, you know."

[snikting]

"Only if I get to carve him up as the main course."

[calmbeforethe]

Long years of living with him prevents her from rolling her eyes at that. "Because clearly that would be appetizing, yes?"

"It'd make me feel better."

He opened the door to head inside.

She stepped inside after him. "It would make a mess of the carpet. And I'm not sure Mia would appreciate that."
