Ororo gave a startled laugh, not resisting when he pulled her into his lap. She settled her hands on his shoulders.

"Four? I don't know if we could handle another, let alone a tiny you."

[snikting]

"Wanda's near grown. She'll be off in her own place before long. An' you look as beautiful as the day we met."

[calmbeforethe]

"Charmer." Ororo rolled her eyes, smiling. "And what if we get another girl, hmm?"

[snikting]

He patted her thigh with his hand and smirked. "I reckon we'll just have to try again."

[calmbeforethe]

"Easy for you to say, us mothers do all the work when it comes to making the baby." Ororo teased, smoothing her hands down his bare shoulders and to his biceps, squeezing gently.

"I don't think I mind, though." She leaned forward to kiss him, chastely.

[snikting]

He kissed her back, completely unchastely.

"That's cuz the part that comes before it is fun."

Nothing was said for some time as Ororo decided to indulge him, smiling around his kiss.

Some moments later however she drew back, slightly breathless and mildly accusing. "... You should be resting."

"You don't find this restful?"

[calmbeforethe]

"It could be, if we involved a bed." She raised an eyebrow at him.

[snikting]

"... pretty sure we have time before the girls come home."

[calmbeforethe]

"Mmm. But I don't think it would hurt if we moved things along."

[snikting]

He abruptly stood up, arms around her waist and knees to lift her up. She might be taller than he was, but he was still plenty strong to carry her around wherever he pleased. "Then let's get this show started."

"Hasn't it already started?" She wrapped her arms around his neck, smiling at the fact that he was already conveniently shirtless. Made things easier for her. "You've got some catching up to do."

[snikting]

He carried her through their small house, towards their own room. All the while, he wore a playful smirk. "If you call that a start, then clearly I've been setting yer expectations too low."

[calmbeforethe]

"Well." She pretended to think about it. "It's been a while, and you've been a very busy man..."

[snikting]

As they reached the bed, he mischievously tossed her on top of it.

"I'm about to be very busy."

[calmbeforethe]

She rolled her eyes. At least their bed was soft. She sat up, reaching out to pull him down to her.

"Promises, promises..."
