[ The journal starts recording very abruptly, catching the crash of a chair hitting the floor, and the tail end of an imperious taunt-- ]

--re mistaken if you think I will come quietly.

[ What follows is a series of bursts of lightning that white out the journal camera for a few moments, leaving the audio to record the rest: glass breaking with the force of a window being thrown open as ororo takes the fight outside, a fierce rush of wind lifting her up to the quickly darkening sky above, thunder booming in the distance as she rises higher and higher, disappearing into the clouds, vaguely hoping to outrun the droids that have finally come for her... but as suddenly as the weather worsens, it begins to fade away. ]

[ When the skies finally clear, she's gone. ]

[Sakura is quick to respond over the journals. None of what she's hearing sounds good to her, and she recognizes that voice almost instantly.]

Ororo...! Where are you?! Answer me at once!

[And not aware that this is a kidnapping yet, Sakura will take her journal and make her way into the village. She's not a Super High School Level sprinter or tracker, and she has no idea where Ororo is, but she'll head for the clouds (she heard thunder). When she reaches them and finds nothing, she'll be able to draw the conclusion for herself.

Accepting it will take much longer. Sakura Oogami is not pleased with this.]

[Oh, she remembers this woman's voice from when she lost her memories.]

Are you in need of help?

[It was just another day in the X-Men house. The others were out. Rogue was at the general store, Mia at the clinic. The two of them had just finished up a danger room run, feeling particularly peckish.

But as Ororo was saying something that Logan was only half listening to, he suddenly silenced her.]

... something's out there.

[He goes to the windows.]

[Ororo glances outside, the warning tone of Logan's voice putting her on alert almost immediately.]

[She stands from where she was seated at the kitchen table, eyes already glowing faintly as she moves to join him at the windows. There was nothing out there just yet, and it was a sunny enough day - but that didn't mean anything.]

What's wrong?

[Just as he pulls the curtains aside, suddenly a droid comes bursting through it, knocking Logan to the ground. The door is thrown off its hinges by another. Several more follow after the first initial wave.

Logan has never seen a kidnapping in progress. But he knows enough to figure it out.]

Droids! [Out comes his claws. As the first one goes towards Ororo, Logan leaps on top of it before it can come near. Unfortunately for him, these droids are stronger than he expected and he's having trouble with just this one.]

[Ororo reacts immediately, ball lightning bursting from her fingertips and towards the nearest droid. It stops only for a split second before barreling towards her again, and Ororo suddenly understands that it's her that they want.]

[Her eyes snap with anger and electricity. Wind comes rushing into the house from the broken window, knocking several objects away, chairs crashing to the floor and sending that first wave of droids back a few feet away.]

You are mistaken if you think I will come quietly.

[It takes more of his strength than it normally would, but Logan is finally able to pierce the droid's core. It's enough for it to go down. Just in time for the wind to come rushing in. Just as more droids do.]

Get outta here, Storm! I'll hold 'em off.

[He puts himself between her and the droids. He isn't their target and he can take the abuse. If she can get to the sky, they might be able to keep them from taking her.]

[She spares a second to call forth another burst of wind, this time much colder and laced with sleet. The temperature in the room drops rapidly, slowing the next wave of droids down. But at Logan's words, she pauses. She hates to leave him to fight them off alone...! ... But she's also realizing that they've come for her-- so she gives him a brief, grim nod.]

Be careful, Logan.

[And with that she's out the window and towards the darkening sky! The droids follow her, but now that she's outside she's got more room to fight - a well-aimed strike of lightning straight from the clouds above manages to keep one or two of them down.

But they keep coming.]

[He keeps the fight inside, at least until she's in the air. Before long, he's tackling a droid and outside on the ground, rolling around as he tries to punch it in the face. A tactic which doesn't accomplish much, especially as other droids dogpile him and begin tearing him away.]

Keep goin', Storm!

[He may be overpowered, but he knows how this game works. And hell. if they change targets, he'd rather it be him anyway.]

[Meanwhile Ororo is fighting just to keep out of reach of the droids that have followed her. Lightning flashes once, twice - but it takes more than a few hits to keep the bots down. Part of her is focused on escaping, but the other part is dimly aware of Logan falling under the pile of droids that attack him.

It only takes a second for her to check on her friend and teammate - one second of momentary distraction for a droid to get past her defenses. She feels the grasp of the mechanical arms on her own arms too late-]

Unhand me-!

[Her eyes flash with rage and the winds pick up very suddenly around her -but it's a losing battle once they have her within their grasp.]

[They've got her.

Logan taps into his deepest primal anger as he starts to viciously tear the droids off him. But even with his claws and his strength, he only makes minimal progress as he tries to get closer to her. In the meantime, the droids tear at his flesh and clothes, leaving him a bloodied mess as he tries vainly to do something, anything to save his teammate.

But it's not near enough.]

[The droids act quickly once they get ahold of her, pinning her arms to her sides. For a moment the sky seemed to open up and lightning arcs crazily through the air, no longer aiming for anything in particular, merely responding to a weather witch's emotions. And there were few things that scared Ororo more than being bound and imprisoned.]

[It doesn't take long, though. Once she's suitably detained, the droids simply Shift away - leaving the weather to sort itself out without its mistress to set things to rights. Soon, whatever's left of the drones follow suit.]

[She's gone. The droids are already starting to leave him alone. He tries to fight them off, but one by one they're gone. And soon he's left on the ground, covered in his own blood as the clouds shatter above him.

There's no chasing her. She's just gone. And for a long time, he just stays there.]
